I’m excited to share that the monks at the Mount Carmel Spirituality Centre outside Edmonton in Alberta have invited me to offer an icon painting workshop and retreat at their new facility. It’s a perfect setting where we can paint together, surrounded by the life of prayer and service happening at Mt. Carmel, inspired by its tranquil landscape, and enjoying its lovely accommodations.
These are wonderful icons that speak to me in a way the familiar ones do not. I was so happy to come upon them on the Internet. Alas, it’s too late to be a part of the coming retreat, but I hope it will be offered again and I will see a notice.
