Here we are flipping our new foundation … Since the Tiny Studio might someday find its way to another location (ideally something a little more remote and outside the city), it’s being built on a skid foundation.
We started building the foundation by laying out the studio’s floor joists and then lagging them to the plywood. What you see here is the underside, made up of three sheets of plywood and having two lengths of 4×6 lumber running the length of the base. With that all screwed together, we’re now ready to flip it right-side-up and begin building the subfloor …
