Symeon occasionally creates special edition icon, which combine the traditional materials and techniques used in the studio (such as gold leaf and wooden panels) with modern reproduction printing. Each edition is unique, limited, and beautiful. The final pieces are museum conservation quality and accompanied with a Certificate of Authenticity. These icons offer something special between the accessibility of the studio’s paper icons and the luxury of its egg tempera icons. Each is made from the original image using the highest quality materials and a variety of liturgical and craft techniques.
